Portland Monthly‘s latest issue explores the ways Northwest K-12 schools, including three diverse Bora projects, are uniquely equipped to create a healthier post-pandemic environment for students:

  • Art Rutkin Elementary School is pursuing Net Zero energy and will feature a central commons with sliding doors that open to a courtyard for ventilation, natural light and landscape connections.
  • Faubion PK-8 School, designed as a unique collocation with Concordia University, features configurable, movable furniture and flexible spaces to accommodate future needs.
  • Central Catholic High School features a range of daylit gathering spaces and 16-foot-wide sliding glass doors on either side of a student commons to expand the educational experience.
