The new Cedar Park Art Collective will be a vibrant center for arts and culture within the fast-growing community of Cedar Park, Texas, a suburb of Austin. Currently in design, the project includes a large theater, a gallery, a multi-purpose space, arts classrooms, and rehearsal areas, while an outdoor park and additional exterior gathering spaces will support community life and events. The project, a collaboration between Bora and Hoefer Welker, will anchor the pedestrian-friendly new Bell District development that includes a recently completed public library and park, with future expansion to include retail and housing. A creek at the park’s edge on the site will feature a bridge connecting the library to the new Art Collective, giving residents a comprehensive, walkable civic destination bringing the arts, nature, and community together.
