Art Rutkin Elementary School in Tigard, OR, was designed to honor its rural origins and site while serving as a modern learning facility for a growing community. Bora Associate Principal Amy Running, Art Rutkin principal Jamie Kingery, and Art Rutkin teacher Sara Rough will present “One School’s Connection to Land and Community” at the 2024 A4LE West Region Conference April 11th, exploring how design can take full advantage of its natural surroundings and serve as a welcoming haven of learning.
