Bora proudly announces the elevation of Stefee Knudsen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, to Principal. In her nearly 30 years of experience as a project manager and designer, Stefee has worked on a range of challenging building types, from education to commercial office. Her experience has shaped a deep understanding of industry trends and practical strategies to achieving carbon-reduction design solutions.
Driven by a passion to connect people to place, the environment, and each other, Stefee is gifted at translating owners’ vision into tangible design solutions in the built environment. As a lifelong learner with insatiable curiosity and sharp organization skills, she is known for her ability to juggle multiple stakeholder groups, bringing clarity to complex processes.
Stefee is committed to mentoring talent and is always looking to bring diverse voices and experiences to the table. Actively engaged in the architectural community, she has been recognized as a DJC Woman of Vision and has served as President and Board member of the AIA Portland chapter, and Co-Chair of the Chapter’s Committee on the Environment and Committee on Architecture for Education.
Joining Bora’s principal team of six, Stefee will continue to champion Bora’s expertise in education, with a focus on leading the practice’s K-12 market into the future.
