With campuses throughout Portland, Rosemary Anderson Prep is an alternative community-based high school of Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC) with the mission to support underserved students through wrap-around services that remove barriers to learning.

The new Sunrise Campus represents a bold next step, with a 60,000sf, 3-story building serving as a major anchor in east Portland’s Rockwood neighborhood. The facility will be designed as both an educational hub and a community center, providing a health clinic, innovation lab, and tournament gym on the ground floor, with a secure high school for up to 150 students and administration above. A double-height central Commons will act as a visual and social connector, ensuring the building feels cohesive, open, and full of energy. A mass timber structure will contribute beauty from nature, while an elegant, intentional palette will guide clear and safe circulation in support of an uplifting environment full of promise for its learners.
