Associate Principal Scott Barton-Smith was recently invited to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to present at the Vietnam Wood Show + SEC Conference hosted by the Softwood Export Council. His talk explored the use of wood in architecture—highlighting valuable design strategies and case studies while engaging in dialogue with global experts to an international audience looking to grow the timber construction industry.
Beyond the conference, Scott spent time exploring the city on foot, gaining an appreciation for its dense and dynamic energy, incredible street food, and the juxtaposition of tradition and innovation.
