Bora Architects is pleased to announce the promotions of our newest Associates and Associate Principals.
Becca Cavell, FAIA LEED BD+C, is a Senior Project Manager at Bora. She has led numerous award-winning projects in her 25-year career, for clients including University of Washington, UC Davis, and the University of Oregon. She is currently working on the new Lincoln High School here in Portland, along with the Texas A&M 21st Century Classroom Building, and the UO Building for Environment and Society.
Jin Lee joined Bora as CFO in 2017, with a deep background in strategic planning and financial operations for fast-paced creative firms. Her straight-forward approach and ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear manner makes her a fantastic resource for everyone in the firm. She served as Executive Managing Director at Ziba Design prior to joining Bora.
Stephanie Taylor has been with Bora for 8 years and serves as Project Management Coordinator. She provides consistency and accountability to Project Managers on issues pertaining to contracts, financial performance, and project planning. Her tireless coordination with firm and team leadership, accounting, and client representatives is essential to project success.
Brian Squillace joined Bora as a Project Architect in 2017, bringing 12 years of project experience. His career has encompassed cohousing, affordable housing, student housing, academic facilities for colleges and universities, master planning, and K-12. He brings a passion for community-based design, social and environmental sustainability, and advocacy.
We are proud to have such high-caliber people on our team and recognize their contributions to this practice. They are diligent, professional, talented, and fun to work with (which is important here at Bora). Congratulations to all of you, and don’t worry – new business cards are on the way!
