Our Portland studio, Volta, has been named a 2026 AIA COTE Top Ten winner! Selected as one of ten projects globally for its innovative design and sustainable excellence, Volta is an adaptive reuse that reimagined a 1940s electrical warehouse as a modern, flexible working studio to house our 100-person staff as well as community events. With ample daylighting, quality air filtration, and healthy material selections, our all-electric building is designed for Net Zero with a projected net EUI of -0.9 kBtu/sf/year.
We are honored to be selected among such outstanding company. Congratulations to our fellow winners, and to all who had a hand in making this pandemic dream an everyday reality that reflects our values of craft, beauty and stewardship.
