Portland Public Schools has selected Bora for the modernization of Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School in Southwest Portland. The replacement of the 1956 school, formerly known as Wilson High School will celebrate the spirit of its namesake, prioritizing human-centered values of health, nature, and resilience to create a healthy, equitable learning environment for all.
As an alumna of (IB)WHS herself, Principal in Charge Stefee Knudsen will lead our all-women team in designing a positive, inclusive new school where students can thrive in their educational journey and feel a sense of belonging within their community.
