Recently, we celebrated the grand opening of Midland Library! Bringing together art, culture, and community, the library’s renovation and expansion utilized a highly participatory engagement process honoring East Portland’s diverse stories and creating welcoming spaces for everyone. From a community gallery featuring the work of local artists to gathering spaces for celebration and storytelling, every corner of Midland Library reflects the lived experiences of its patrons.
