Community College of Denver Cherry Creek Building

Denver, CO

Renovations to the Cherry Creek Building, once known as the South Classroom Building, helped elevate the stature of the Community College of Denver’s Auraria campus by creating inviting community spaces to attract, engage and retain students. Careful coordination of the phased project enabled renovations to occur during the semester with minimal disruptions to building use.

Along with modernizing the facility, the renovation aimed to simplify wayfinding while prioritizing ample public spaces for students to gather and collaborate. A new central café offers a strong connection to an outdoor pavilion and a new, beautifully landscaped courtyard, providing a vibrant and dynamic space for the college community.
