Congratulations to Bora Associate Principal Mike Manzi on his election to Board Chair of the Health Product Declaration Collaborative (HPDC), a nonprofit advocating for healthy materials in the built environment.
As a founding board member of HPDC and having chaired its Technical Committee, Mike is a longtime champion of the organization for its dedication to healthy environments. His work to engage more industry professionals to participate in material transparency and the elimination of toxic chemicals in products has broadly benefited building users and the greater community. Mike was essential to Bora’s highly scrutinized product selection process for our new office (pictured below), where healthy materials drove the design. The result was a space with few materials—mostly wood—that felt fresh and clean from the start.
Mike remains a passionate advocate for healthier, safer environments and we can’t wait to see the impact of his reach in this new role!
