Nothing says “Architect” like the classic black fit! Meet the newest architectural designers to join
team Bora:
■ Luja Maharjan earned her B.Arch in Nepal and her M.Arch in Idaho, providing her with an adaptive mindset and a global perspective toward design and its impact on communities. An ambitious and collaborative learner with a passion for sustainability, she brings experience across all phases of design.
■ Mayu Uchiyama is a strong conceptual designer with Masters degrees in both architecture and music. As an accomplished opera singer she brings a unique perspective to her work, understanding firsthand the interplay of sound and space to create immersive performance environments.
■ Madison Young is a recent University of Oregon grad with a term studying abroad (Barcelona!) informing her approach to the user experience. With stellar graphic skills and a minor in landscape architecture, she has a keen understanding of spatial context and environmental stewardship.
■ Michael Clifton is brand new to Portland and has jumped right in with his ability to graphically articulate the design process. Originally from Chicago and a recent graduate of Tulane, he is a creative problem solver and analytic thinker propelled by design’s potential to further opportunities for equity, community, and sustainability.
