Say hello to our newest teammates!
◾ Marianne Nepsund (Architect) comes to Bora with experience spanning a wide range of projects, from community-driven initiatives in Africa to cultural and educational spaces in the U.S. Early in her career, Marianne discovered the importance of designing with a deep understanding of local contexts, often developing creative solutions with limited resources. She brings a collaborative design approach and passion for sustainability to our Ida B. Wells project team.
◾ Somya Singh (Senior Community Design Engagement Lead) joins Bora with plenty of Canadian kindness from her hometown roots. Having studied architecture, she has served in leadership roles related to exhibit design, marketing, and illustration. She is now taking on Bora’s first-ever community design engagement role as a master of relationship-building through an equitable design approach. As the former Director of Exhibits at Portland Children’s Museum, Somya has extensive experience collaborating with clients, community partners, local leaders, and beyond to realize design projects that meet the needs of diverse communities.
We’re thrilled to welcome you both to team Bora.
