We’re excited to announce the promotions of two exemplary individuals at Bora.
Brian Squillace, AIA, has been promoted to Associate Principal. Respected as a hands-on leader, project designer and team collaborator, Brian brings a passion for mission-based organizations and community advocacy which has shaped our values as a design firm. A natural ambassador for our practice, Brian possesses a strong equity lens that has been pivotal to opening doors for us in Portland’s affordable housing market. Brian’s work thoughtfully balances technical knowledge, craft and community engagement, lending a unique angle to projects including the PCC Metro Workforce Center and the Dartmouth Crossing Development.
Leina Naversen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to Associate. A strong design collaborator and problem solver who brings excellent leadership, management skills and sustainability expertise to projects, Leina has been instrumental to Bora’s science and higher education work. Undaunted in her ability to tackle challenges to enhance projects, she is particularly skilled in working with owners on technical and systems requirements to match their project vision. Her recent contributions to the UO Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact elevated the project’s sustainable design and reinforced its mission to further scientific breakthroughs.
