As tradition, we closed our office for an all staff field trip this past summer. This year, the group headed down to Corvallis to tour the recently completed Learning Innovation Center at OSU, and made a stop at the Rogue Tasting Room for some refreshments and excellent bbq.
Throwing a wrench into the mix, on one of the hottest days of the summer, the air conditioner in the bus stopped working! Not to be deterred by the heat, some brave souls waded fully clothed into the Willamette River to cool off. On the ride back to Portland, we distracted ourselves from the hot, sticky vinyl seats by singing acapella karaoke on the bus microphone.
All and all, an excellent and memorable trip!
