UC Berkeley Zellerbach Hall Master Plan

UC Berkeley Zellerbach Hall Master Plan

Berkeley, CA

An iconic cultural destination built in 1968, Zellerbach Hall is a multi-use performing arts center shared by Cal Performances, a world renowned arts presenter on the Berkeley campus, and the Department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies. Bora’s master plan developed a vision for the renovation and expansion of Zellerbach Hall that would transform it into an iconic cultural center for the 21st Century within a ten-year horizon.

The full scope of our multidisciplinary team included a detailed facility assessment, space utilization analysis, programming, feasibility studies, conceptual design, and a phasing plan for how Zellerbach Hall could be renovated and expanded to meet the programmatic space needs over time.
