Bora announces the hire of Associate Tom Awai as Director of Business Development. Tom brings more than three decades of industry experience, grounded by his education in architecture and planning and guided by his natural ability to connect people, cultivate relationships, and drive teams toward a shared goal.
Passionate about community engagement, Tom has been involved in numerous boards, nonprofit agencies, and commissions. With much of his career focused on business development efforts for higher education and public work, he has been instrumental to the effectiveness of many architecture firms.
Tom is a resident of Los Angeles and will focus on growing Bora’s design reach throughout the country, building on our established national portfolio.
