Exploring 360 Video on the Beaverton Jobsite

by Karim Hassanein

After his last visit to the Mountainside High School site, Jeremy Larsen came back with some 360 still photos captured on his phone. It was a great way to experience the project’s scale, and feel more immersed in the space, but a phone camera is still a phone camera.

So this time, Jeremy went out armed with a full-on 360 degree video camera, an extension mount, and a little bit of blue sky. Now you can walk through the building with him at your side, take a stroll through the courtyard, and really get a feel for how Beaverton’s newest high school is coming together.

We’re always exploring technologies like 360 videography to advance the way we communicate about our projects and process, so keep checking our Wall for future posts like this one!
